MURRAYVILLE - After missing the last month with a concussion and wondering if he would ever be able to play football again, Michael Christmas looked liked he never Friday night.

Christmas scored three touchdowns to lead North Hall to a 31-14 win over Fannin County in both teams' Region 7-AAA finale.

The Trojans, who just two years ago were 1-9, will play host to Carrollton next week in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs.

The Trojans (9-1) scored less than two minutes into the game when Chrstmas scored on 15-yard run.

After North Hll held Fannin, Christmas scored again to give North Hall a quick 14-0 lead.

Fannin (4-6) got back into the game on a thrilling 79-yard run by Shawn Searce. but that's as close as the Rebels would get.

North Hall's Chris Curtis provided the game-winning points on a 28-yard field goal to give the Trojans a 17-7 halftime lead.

The Rebels could have been closer but the North Hall defense intercepted two Fannin passes deep in North Hall territory.
