GAINESVILLE - Gainesville remained No. 1 Class AAA and Buford No. 1 in Class AA in the final Associated Press high school football poll of the regular season released Tuesday night.
The playoffs in all five of Georgia's classifications begin this weekend. Gainesville and Buford both will play host to first round games.
Stephens County is still No. 8 and North Hall No. 9 in the Class AAA poll. North Hall will also play host to a first-round playoff game Friday night.
In Class A poll, Commerce remained No. 9. Linclon County, which is No. 1 in Class A was the last team to beat Commerce during the regular season.
