RABBITTOWN - The annual Pepsi Shootout basketball tournament will open play Tuesday night at the East Hall High Gym.
As has become custom, the Vikings play host to a tough field.
On Tuesday, the East Hall girls and boys will play Banneker. According to rankings on gabasketball .net, the East Hall boys are ranked No. 1 in Class AAA and Banneker is third. The East Hall girls are tied for 15th in latest rankings.
On Wednesday, Class AAAAA Central Gwinnett will play Class A No. 1-ranked S.W. Atlanta Christian. The winner of the Tuesday and Wednesday matchups will play for the championship on Saturday.
Both Vikings teams opened their season last week with wins over Lakeview Academy.
