FLOWERY BRANCH - It was a feeling Flowery Branch boys basketball coach Mike Adcock had been waiting more than a year to have.<br>

The Falcons got their first-ever win in school history Tuesday night beating Pickens County 84-69.<br>
<br>
"We did a good job getting everyone involved. A great feeling having our first win," Adcock said.<br>
<br>
The Lady Falcons made it a sweep with a 59-47 over the Lady Dragons.<br>
<br>
The Falcons (1-1) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. <br>
<br>
"I felt like we played as a team. Our team had a strong showing against North Hall last week and that gave us alot of confidence," said Zach Swansey, who lead all scorers with 29 points. <br>
<br>
Josh Action and Colby Newton joined Swansey in the double figures, with 11 and 14 points respectively.<br>
<br>
Pickens County outscored Flowery Branch 32-24 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough. <br>
<br>
Stephen Hunter had 18 to lead Pickens, 16 in the fourth quarter. Cody Shaw added 15 and Jacob Gise had 10.
