GAINESVILLE - The North Hall Lady Trojans softball team climbed to No. 3 in the last Gafastpitch.com Class AAA prep poll.
North Hall (20-4, 9-0 in Region 7-AAA) moved up by virtue of its dramatic come-from-behind win over now-No. 4 Pickens County last week.
Chestatee moved up to No. 6 while Flowery Branch is still ninth.
Region 7-AAA wraps up its regular season this week before beginning the Region Tournament next Tuesday at Lanier Point Softball Complex.
In other rankings, North Forysth is fifth and South Forsyth sixth in the Class AAAA poll. Jackson County is eighth.
In the Class AA poll, Dawson County climbed into the poll in a tie for ninth with Vidalia. Greater Atlanta Christian is ranked No. 2 in Class AA.
