TAYLORVILLE, ALABAMA - Cobb County schools aren't the only ones worried for kids who are allergic to peanuts.
A principal in Tuscaloosa County has banned peanut butter and all other nut products from his elementary school.

A kindergarten student at Taylorville Primary School has a severe allergy to nuts.

So Principal Steve Lamon has declared the entire school a nut-free zone. He sent home a letter Monday describing peanut butter sandwiches as a - ``major no-no.''

The rule might not last.
Some parents say it's unfair to ban all 600 students at the school from eating peanut butter because of one person. And the Tuscaloosa County school board is reviewing the ban.

Georgia also has peanut issues even though it produces more peanuts than any other state.
Cobb County schools are planning to establish peanut-free zones to protect children who can have severe allergic reactions.
