Alabama school bans peanuts

TAYLORVILLE, ALABAMA - Cobb County schools aren&#39;t the only ones worried for kids who are allergic to peanuts. <br> <br> A principal in Tuscaloosa County has banned peanut butter and all other nut products from his elementary school. <br> <br> A kindergarten student at Taylorville Primary School has a severe allergy to nuts. <br> <br> So Principal Steve Lamon has declared the entire school a nut-free zone. He sent home a letter Monday describing peanut butter sandwiches as a - ``major no-no.&#39;&#39; <br> <br> The rule might not last. <br> <br> Some parents say it&#39;s unfair to ban all 600 students at the school from eating peanut butter because of one person. And the Tuscaloosa County school board is reviewing the ban. <br> <br> Georgia also has peanut issues even though it produces more peanuts than any other state. <br> <br> Cobb County schools are planning to establish peanut-free zones to protect children who can have severe allergic reactions.
