Home Depot buys naming rights to new L.A. sports complex

LOS ANGELES - A Los Angeles newspaper is reporting Tuesday that a new sports complex will bear the Home Depot name after the Atlanta-based company agreed to a 10-year deal worth $70 million. <br> <br> The Home Depot National Training Center will be home to Major League Soccer&#39;s Los Angeles Galaxy as well as the training grounds for the U.S. men&#39;s and women&#39;s soccer teams and a venue for U.S. Tennis Association events. <br> <br> According to the Los Angeles Times, the facility will be built on 85 acres in Carson, about 20 miles south of L.A. It will include a track and field stadium that could hold up to 30,000 seats. <br> <br> The Anschutz Entertainment Group was expected to announce the deal with Home Depot and the addition of a track and field stadium Tuesday. The $130 million complex is expected to be built by June 2003.
