GAINESVILLE - New traffic signals on Georgia 400 at Highway 306, Bald Ridge Marina Road, and Pilgrim Mill Road in Forsyth County will become operational Tuesday.
The district engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation office in Gainesville, Larry Dent, says that "with the reconstruction of the ramps and bridges (at those interchanges) virtually complete, we can now safely activate the signals."
Dent went on to say "the signals have been installed (and) testing of the signals is complete and (they) will be operational by (Tuesday) afternoon."
An 18-month construction project widened the entrance and exit ramps and the bridges at the three interchanges.
