Delta offers double miles and medallion qualification promotions

ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines today announced two new promotions for members of its SkyMiles program. Members can earn double miles on all qualifying Delta flights worldwide from Jan. 10, 2002, through March 20, 2002. <br> <br> For the second promotion, Delta is offering members of its SkyMiles<br> Medallion program an additional opportunity to qualify for 2002 Medallion status during the first three months of 2002.<br> <br> &#34;Delta is pleased to provide its loyal customers with new opportunities to earn bonus miles and base miles to help them earn award travel or reach Medallion status quicker,&#34; said Rob Borden, Delta&#39;s general manager of SkyMiles Customer Loyalty Programs. <br> <br> <br> SkyMiles members with Medallion status are eligible for benefits such as mileage bonuses, upgrade opportunities, priority waitlist status, preferred boarding, Preferred Seating, Virtual Check-In and waived blackout dates for Award Travel on Delta. Members earn base miles as well as segments for all Delta, Delta Connection(R), AeroMexico, Air France, Alitalia, CSA Czech Airlines and Korean Air flights.<br> <br> <br>
