Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(2)(d)] Observed that the ice machine had no one inch air gap. (d) Backflow Prevention, Air Gap. An air gap between the water supply inlet and the flood level rim of the plumbing fixture, equipment or nonfood equipment shall be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet and may not be less than 1 inch (25 mm). New Violation. 17D Violation of Code: [511-6-1.07(2)(i)] Observed cracked ceiling light shield the kitchen near the kitchen hand sink and ice machine. (i) Light Bulbs, Protective Shielding. 1. Except as specified in paragraph 2 of this subsection, light bulbs shall be shielded, coated, or otherwise shatter-resistant in areas where there is exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; or unwrapped single-service and single-use articles. New Violation.
