Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(j)1&2] Observed a Gatorade bottle stored down in the ice of an ice machine. Employee drinks should be in a disposable cup with a lid and straw and be stored in a area for employees to prevent cross contamination. COS: Employee bottle was thrown away and the ice machine was drained and closed down before further use. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 4-2B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(b)] Observed an ice machine with a build up of mold and debris. Food contact surfaces should be cleaned and sanitized at a frequency to prevent cross contamination. COS: Ice machine wae closed down and and drained out and is to be washed rinsed and sanitized until further use. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 14A Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(k)] Observed two ice scoops: one stored in the main ice machine and the other in the ice machine by the bar with their handles touching the ice. In-use utensils should be stored with the handle facing up to prevent cross contamination. COS: Both scoops were removed from the machines and are to be washed, rinsed and sanitized and the ice was drained from the units. Corrected On-Site. New Violation. 15B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(3)(h),(i)] Facility could not provide Qac Test strips for their quaternary sanitizer solutions. Food service establishments should have test strips to ensure their sanitizer is at the correct ppm to prevent cross contamination or chemical burn. New Violation.
