Violation of Code: [511-6-1.03(5)(j)1&2] Observed two personal cups on the prep table in the kitchen.
Employees shall consume food only in approved designated areas separate from food preparation and serving areas, equipment or utensil areas and food storage areas. However, drinking from a single service beverage cup with a secure lid and straw that is handled to prevent contamination of the employee’s hands, the container, exposed food, clean equipment, utensils and linens, unwrapped single-service and single-use articles will be allowed. COS- PIC discussed with food employee responsible for the violation the approved area(s) and methods for drinking. The cups were removed during the inspection. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(a)1] Observed accumulated mold debris inside the ice machine in the kitchen. Food contact surfaces and equipment must be clean to sight and touch. Ice machine was cleaned during the inspection. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(6)(n)] Observed Chlorine concentration of ware washing machine registering 0ppm of Chlorine with a chemical test kit. A chlorine solution shall have a minimum temperature based on the concentration and PH of the solution. This should be 50 - 100ppm at 75 Degrees Fahrenheit.
Manager replaced the empty sanitizer bucket with a new one and the dish machine eventually registered between 50 - 100ppm of Chlorine during the inspection. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
