Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(b)] Accumulated slime debris inside nozzles of tea urns. Tea dispenser nozzles shall be cleaned and sanitized a minimum of every 24hrs when in use. COS- PIC disassembled nozzles, manually removed debris, and washed, rinsed sanitized before reuse. PIC to discuss with food staff ensuring nozzles are disassembled when cleaned to ensure food contact surfaces of nozzles are flushed or scrubbed as part of the cleaning and sanitizing process. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
4-2B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.05(7)(a)1] Accumulated food debris and residues on blade and wedged along gap on face of table mounted can opener. Food contact surfaces of utensils shall be cleaned to sight and touch before sanitized for storage or reuse. COS- PIC manually removed accumulated debris and residues on all surfaces and components of table mounted can opener and washed, rinsed, sanitized for storage/reuse. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
16B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(2)(r)] Observed water leaking from condenser in walk in freezer. Plumbing systems must be maintained in good repair to prevent non-potable water from contaminating food. PIC to have walk in freezer repaired and no food shall be stored underneath leaking condenser. Repeat Violation.
16B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(2)(m),(n)] Observed vacuum breaker leaking when water is turned on at service sink. The vacuum breaker must be maintained in good repair for backflow prevention. PIC to have vacuum breaker repaired or replaced. Repeat Violation.
16B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(2)(r)] Observed constant leak of water running from base of right handle to down the interior wall of basin then drain of the food preparation sink regardless of whether the water is turned on or off at sink. Plumbing must be maintained in good repair to prevent possible contamination of sink. PIC to have leaky handle repaired. Repeat Violation.
