Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(g)] Observed strawberries about to be washed in warewashing sink. Vegetable sink is out-of-order. Vegetables and fruits must be washed in a sink designated for that purpose only. PIC to have plumber repair sink by 7/10/19. Vegetables are to be washed at another La Mejor de Michocan location and transported in cleaned and sanitized containers with lids or bought pre-washed until vegetable sink is fixed. New Violation. 16B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(2)(j)] Observed backflow prevention device not installed on mop sink with hose connected to faucet and the other in stored inside sink. A backflow prevention device must be installed to prevent non-potable water from contaminating the clean water supply. PIC to have plumber install backflow prevention device. New Violation. 17B Violation of Code: [511-6-1.06(5)(n)] Observed both dumpster doors and lid left open. The dumpster doors and lids must be shut when not in use to prevent potential pest/rodent/bird harborage. COS: employee closed doors and lid. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.
