Flowery Branch city officials are getting set to move into the new city hall that is wrapping up construction in the city's downtown.

The Flowery Branch City Council heard a proposal for a change to the city's alcohol code at it's meeting Thursday as part of a larger proposal for a possible "downtown dining district" in the city.

The Hall County Board of Elections voted 3-2 to rescind a 2017 motion to "proactively provide Spanish voting material for voters in Hall County," at its meeting Tuesday.

The Hall County Commission approved the employment of several officials at its meeting Thursday and among those was Jock Connell as the new County Administrator.

There have been several questions about the more than 200-lot Trinity Falls subdivsion that is set to be built off of Friendship Road in south Hall County, but at least one of them now appears to be answered.
