Parts of Valley Road will again be shut down for water main improvements.
This comes after the road was partially shut down from April 7 to April 18 last month, which was extended after crews encountered a “large amount of rock.”
The road between Crepe Myrtle Lane and Blue Ridge Drive will be closed to thru traffic on Monday until Friday for water main improvements.
The City of Gainesville reminds residents to drive carefully and follow construction detour signs.
