A Flowery Branch woman was arrested Wednesday on charges from a domestic violence incident that occured on March 14.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said Melissa Suzanne Blitch, 40, was living with the male victim at the residence where the incident occurred. A verbal argument between the two turned physical and Blitch reportedly struck the victim in the head multiple times with her closed fists, causing the victim’s ear to bleed. She also smashed the victim’s cell phone and damaged the garage door of the home prior to the physical assault on the victim, HCSO said.
Blitch fled the scene after another adult called 911 to report the dispute. She allegedly took the victims keys and wallet when she left the residence.
All County deputies arrested her at a location in Braselton on April 9. She was charged with battery under the Family Violence Act, criminal trespass (two counts), theft by taking and probation violation.
