County planning board to hear proposal for 45-lot subdivision in West Hall

Plans for a 45-lot subdivision in West Hall are are scheduled to be heard by the Hall County Planning Commission Monday.

David Mercer of Development Consultants is asking that 36.75 acres at Flat Creek Road and Nags Head Circle be rezoned from Vacation-Cottage (V-C) to Planned Residential Development (PRD) in order to clear the way for the subdivision.

Also on the planning board agenda for Monday's meeting are requests involving:

*An automotive repair shop at Persimmon Tree and Lula roads

*A mechanic shop and school on Dawsonville Highway near its intersection with Carl Drive

*A boat sales and storage facility on Lanier Islands Parkway at Pass Drive.

The planning commission, which meets at 5:15 at the Hall County Government Center, is also scheduled to elect officers for the new year at Monday's meeting.
