The Trojans hold a one-game lead over the Tigers and Pickens.
Meanwhile, in Region 8-3A, Jefferson's 7-5 win over Oconee County leaves them atop the standings tied with Cherokee Bluff. Oconee County is now one game out of the top spot in Region 8-3A.
In Region 8-4A, Flowery Branch's 11-1 win over Madison County has them tied for second place with North Oconee. Walnut Grove remains in first place in Region 8-4A.
In Region 8-A Division 1, Banks County is at the top of the standings and has a one-game lead over Providence Christian.
