The City of Cornelia is looking for applicants for open positions on its planning commission.
The city issued a statement Friday saying it has vacant seats for Ward 1 and Ward 3 on the Unified Planning Commission.
Applicants need to be residents in one of those two wards, have experience in economic development, planning, zoning, law or a related field and "have a vested interest in the future of Cornelia."
The Cornelia Unified Planning Commission meets once a month, with members also being required to attend annual planning and zoning training.

The deadline to apply is February 20.
