Human remains were found in Banks County on Friday in a wooded area near Harden Bridge Road.
The remains were found during a search for Charles “Eddie” Ramsey, who was reported missing by his family.
Ramsey was last seen walking towards his home on Harden Bridge Road in June of this year.
The remains were transported to the medical examiner’s office for identification.
Banks County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release that there is no suspicion of foul play, although the circumstances and manner of death “are still under investigation.”
