FAYETTEVILLE, Ga. — For the second straight season, and the fourth time since 2017, the North Hall girls tennis team advanced to the state semifinals.
The Lady Trojans blanked host Starr's Mill 3-0 in the Class 4A quarterfinals on Thursday.
North Hall took a quick when No. 2 singles Maggie Perry won 6-0, 6-2 and No. 1 singles Lilly Perry took a 6-4, 6-2 victory to put the Lady Trojans one win from the semifinals.
With the other three matches all in doubt, Ali Moore and Braely Jarrard at No. 2 doubles finished off their opponents in three sets 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 to clinch it for North Hall.
The Lady Trojans next will take on the Bainbridge-Westminster winner in the semifinals.
