North Georgia Technical College recently recognized employees at the college’s annual service awards holiday luncheon.
NGTC officials said audio-visual/information technology specialist Brandon Provitera was named the 2024 Employee of the Year.
NGTC has employed Provitera since 2014 where he has worked as a technical support specialist, a library assistant and a library work-study. He graduated from NGTC in 2016 with a networking specialist associate degree.
Provitera was nominated by staff members and was complimented on his friendliness, knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond for the college.
“It means a lot to me to be recognized as Employee of the Year,” Provitera said. “I really appreciate everyone at the college and in my department fostering such a great work environment. Without them and their encouragement, I would not have risen to the heights I am today. It’s a blessing; thank you once again.”
NGTC Information Technology Director Savonda Turner said it is a pleasure to work with Provitera.
“Brandon stands out for his exemplary customer service, outstanding work ethic, and dedication to the college,” Turner said. “He embodies a consistently positive attitude that has significantly contributed to the spirit of our IT team and is an exceptional example of excellence among NGTC employees. It is a pleasure to work alongside someone of Brandon’s caliber.”
