The Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested a woman Thursday after she damaged entry gates at an apartment complex and campground.

Flowery Branch Police Department officials said Starlita Moore, 40, of Hampton allegedly rammed her vehicle into an entry gate twice at Old Federal Campground in South Hall. She also allegedly damaged an entry gate at Tree Park Apartments in Flowery Branch.

Hall County Sheriff's Office officials said Friday morning that deputies were called to the campground at around 11:45 a.m. to a report of someone driving through the gate. The driver, later identified as Moore, was reportedly attempting to drive her vehicle into the lake, but she ended up speeding away from the park.

Flowery Branch Police Officers were sent to the apartment complex at around 12:30 p.m. regarding reports that Moore was banging on an apartment door while allegedly holding a firearm and yelling.

According to Flowery Branch Police officials responding officers received further information that Moore rammed her vehicle into a gate at Tree Park Apartments and another vehicle before allegedly leaving the scene.

Dispatch advised officers Moore was possibly suicidal. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office alongside Flowery Branch Police began a search of the area.

A Hall County Deputy spotted Moore’s vehicle and attempted to stop her but she refused to stop. Police officers and deputies began pursuing Moore.

During the pursuit, Moore returned to Old Federal Campground and allegedly rammed through a closed gate.

Officials said once in the park, she drove to the boat ramp area and stopped her vehicle, exited the vehicle and entered the lake before she was detained.

Flowery Branch Police have charged Moore with two counts of criminal damage to property, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident and reckless conduct. Hall County Sheriff's Office officials have charged her with interference with government property, criminal damage to property and 12 traffic-related citations.

Moore was booked into the Hall County Jail where she remains on nearly $50,000 bond.
