By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

A man is facing arson charges after a fire at a mobile home in Gainesville Saturday night.

Hall County Fire Rescue officials released information Monday saying they were called to the mobile home on Odell Street at around 8:00 p.m.

"First arriving units found a single-wide mobile home with 50 percent of the structure in flames," officials said. "The Hall County Fire Marshal's Office began the fire investigation that night."

Investigators said witnesses told them they saw a man running from the property moments before the fire was spotted. Investigators along with the Hall County Sheriff's Office eventually identified the man as Moises Ramirez, age 26 of Gainesville. He was soon found and arrested.

Ramirez is being held in the Hall County Jail without bond on charges including first-degree arson, as well as a drug possession charge.

No injuries were reported in the fire.
