GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Chattahoochee Golf Club is closed until midweek due to forecasted winter weather.
"To prepare for wintry conditions forecast for Gainesville-Hall County, greens at Chattahoochee Golf Club (CGC) will be covered Monday, Dec. 2, and therefore unavailable for play until midweek at the earliest," the golf club said in a press release. "The greens will remain covered until Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 4, though the weather may delay CGC's reopening until Friday afternoon, Dec. 6."
The driving range will remain open during this time.
The National Weather Service projects Gainesville-Hall County temperatures will dip into the 20s for most of this week, with highs reaching only the mid-40s and low-50s.
CGC appreciates your patience and understanding as staff work to protect the greens from this potentially damaging weather.
Chattahoochee Grill will open for dinner only Tuesday-Friday.
