Northeast Georgia Health System’s simulation center has been recently accredited by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
The SSH is an international organization that promotes the advancement of simulation-based education for healthcare professionals.
NGHS’s simulation center was accredited for providing a safe environment that mimics the actual clinical environment for healthcare professionals to practice their skills.
This achievement additionally allows NGHS to collaborate with other accredited simulation centers to share knowledge and contribute on both a national and international level to the advancement of simulation-based education.
The publication Becker’s Health Review also recently named NGHS as one of 34 hospitals and health systems across the US with a great simulation and education program. NGHS appeared alongside other health systems such as Stanford Medicine, John Hopkins Medicine, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital
