The Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County elected Thursday officers for 2024.
A press release from Forsyth County said District 1 Commissioner Kerry Hill was elected to serve as vice chairwoman and District 5 Commissioner Laura Semanson was elected as secretary.
Alfred John, who serves as District 2 Commissioner, was elected on Nov. 2 as the Board’s chairman for 2024 for the third consecutive year.
Five people living in a specific district and elected by their district to serve four-year terms make up the board of commissioners.
