Football: East Forsyth dominates in 42-0 win over East Hall

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – East Forsyth scored all their points in the first half in a 42-0 win over East Hall in 8-4A action Friday night.

Brock Szackas got things rolling early in the first on a 3-yard touchdown that was followed by a 47-yard reception from Szackas to Will Moffitt that pushed the lead quickly out to 14-0 with 7:34 to go in the first. Four minutes later, Szackas linked up witha Connon Hunter for his only catch of the night, a 52-yarder that put seven more points on the board.

Moffitt and Szackas hooked up again early in the second on a 24-yard pitch-and-catch before Alex Day ran in from three yards out and Tripp Morris from five yards away to get to the final score by halftime.

Szackas was 7-for-8 for 160 yards and a trio of passing touchdowns. Morris led all rushers with 181 yards on 20 touches. The Bronco defense forced three Viking turnovers on the night, despite tallying 209 yards of offense. East Forsyth added up 507 yards of total offense on the night.

East Hall will host Walnut Grove next week, while the Broncos head to Cherokee Bluff.
