By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

The fourth and final suspect has been arrested in the case of a January murder at a Flowery Branch apartment complex.

Hall County Sheriff's Office officials confirmed Wednesday afternoon that Noe Sanchez-Rivera, age 18 of Gillsville, was recently arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He was extradited back to Hall County from Laredo, Texas and booked into the county jail early Wednesday morning.

Sanchez-Rivera was one of four suspects in the January 10 shooting death of Mateo Rizo, age 19, at Tree Park Apartments on Thurmon Tanner Parkway. The other three suspects were arrested in Hall County within days of each other in June after a six-month investigation by the Flowery Branch Police Department.

The investigation reportedly determined that Sanchez-Rivera and the other three suspects were attempting to rob Rizo of marijuana and cash when the shooting occurred.

Sanchez-Rivera is being held without bond and facing charges of Murder and Armed Robbery.
