One man was killed in a single-wreck Sunday afternoon on Ga 17 in Towns County.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, troopers were dispatched at about 5 p.m. to the scene of the wreck near Indian Grave Gap Road.
The agency said a 64-year-old man from Gwinnett County was driving a Nissan NV200 south on Ga 17 when the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.
The driver died from injuries sustained in the wreck. The man's name was not released.
The victim was the only person inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.
