Hall County investigators have warned customers of an alleged pine straw scam in the county's south end.
In a Facebook post from the Hall County Sheriff's office, the alleged scammers approach homeowners claiming to be landscapers and offer to sell the pine straw and install it at a low cost.
The scam is they claim to have spread too much pine straw and charge for hundreds of bales when only about a dozen were used.
