Jaemor Farms has announced it is closing its location in Banks Crossing and opening a new eatery at its location in Alto.
The farmers market announced the move in a social media post Thursday afternoon, saying the team at the Banks Crossing location will relocate to help staff the new additions in Alto.
“Over the past 10 years, our market in Banks Crossing has been very successful in creating a quality deli menu and driving both individual and corporate orders,” Jaemor Farms General Manager Drew Echols said. “In order to help facilitate that growth, they needed more kitchen space. We believe moving this effort to our Alto location provides that space as well as additional reach across North Georgia.”
The Banks Crossing location will close on July 1, marking 10 years since it opened in 2013.
At the same time, the market will be opening "The Eatery at Jaemor Farms" in the barn at the Alto location. Also, Jaemor staff said discussions are taking place to possibly implement pop-up markets in a list of locations including Banks Crossing, as well as Gainesville, Duluth and Alpharetta.
The post from the market said more information on the new eatery will be released at a later date.
