West Hall Middle School teacher, Stacy Milazzo, recently received the Philip Wright Award for Hall County Schools.
Milazzo teaches Special Education for grades six through eight. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Brenau University and her Master’s Degree in Special Education ABA at Arizona State.
The Philip Wright Award is awarded each year to an individual who has a strong commitment to improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities within Northeast Georgia’s Pioneer RESA area.
According to a press release, the award is given in the name of Philip Wright, who created a legacy of service in the area. Each regional education service agency district selected an individual who exemplifies service, deep respect and regard, commitment and advocacy for children with special needs.
