LifeSouth Community Blood Centers launched its Spring Up and Donate blood drive Thursday, during which donors can receive a $25 e-gift card.
According to a press release from the organization, the blood drive runs through Sunday, April 16. Those who give blood during the blood drive will receive a $25 e-gift card that can be used at hundreds of major retailers and restaurants.
Those who give a double red cell donation or platelet donation will receive an additional $20 e-gift card.
LifeSouth is the provider of blood to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, North Fulton Hospital, Habersham Medical Center, Spalding Regional Medical Center and Sylvan Grove Hospital.
Blood donors receive refreshments and a mini-physical including cholesterol, iron level, temperature and blood pressure. LifeSouth is open on Easter.
