Three people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon on Browns Bridge Road in Hall County.
According to a crash report from the Georgia State Patrol, the wreck happened just before 4:30 p.m. near the roadway's intersection with Hidden Hill Drive.
The crash report said Bruce Lee Monson, 36, of Gainesville, was driving eastbound on Browns Bridge Road in a Kia Rio. Meanwhile, a 32-year-old Kennesaw man was driving a Nissan Titan westbound on the roadway with a passenger inside. The Nissan was also towing a trailer at the time of the accident.
Monson allegedly crossed the center line and entered the path of the Nissan. The Nissan swerved to the right to avoid Monson, but Monson's vehicle still struck the front of the Nissan.
Monson suffered suspected serious injuries as a result of the wreck. The two occupants of the Nissan suffered possible minor injuries, according to the crash report. All three people were transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville.
Monson was declared the at-fault driver and was cited.
