GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Charlie Wright's sacrifice fly scoring Carson Brown in the bottom of the seventh lifted North Hall to a thrilling 6-5 win over Mountain View on Wednesday at Lynn Cottrell Field.
It capped a huge rally from 5-2 going into the bottom of the sixth. The Trojans (5-0) fell behind after the Bears scored three in the top of the sixth on RBI hits from Victor Astacio and Jesse Crews to take a 5-2 lead.
In the North Hall sixth, Kenny Foudy singled scoring Mills Lothridge to pull North within 5-3. The Trojans scored three in the seventh, getting RBI singles from Luke Sanders and Jon Jon Read setting up Wright's game-winner.
North Hall actually started strong getting a two-run single from Wright in the bottom of the first. But Mountain View tied the game in the fourth plating a pair of runs on a North Hall error.
Freshman Kaleb Sexton started for the Trojans going 5 2/3 innings allowing just three earned runs on three hits and three walks and struck out one. Campbell Payton got the win pitching the final 1 1/3 innings allowing just one hit.
Tyshon Patty led things off on the mound for Mountain View. Patty went five innings, allowing two runs on two hits and fanning 10. Patty also had two hits for the Bears.
Read had two hits and three stolen bases for North Hall. Sanders, Ajay Jones, Lothridge, Korbyn Sosebee and Andrew Hlavacek also had hits for the Trojans.

WEST HALL 5
Chestatee rallied from an early 3-1 deficit to beat the Spartans on Wednesday at Spartans Field.
West Hall (0-4) opened with a run in the first but Chestatee (4-2) plated three in the second to grab the lead. After the Spartans scored a run in the bottom of the second, the War Eagles extended their lead to 5-2.
But West Hall would battle back to tie the game at 5 with two runs in the third and another in the fourth. Chestatee took a 7-5 lead in the fifth.
From there, junior Wesley Gossett and Dylan Thompson shut the door for the War Eagles, scattering four hits and allowing just one run while striking out five over the final four innings.
Jake Hitchcock had two hits and three RBI to pace the Chestatee offense.
Justin Shaffer had three hits and an RBI to lead West Hall
