By Caleb Hutchins Assistant News Director

Authorities in Gwinnett County have identified and issued charges against a second suspect in an August shooting at Sugarloaf Mills Mall near Lawrenceville.

A release by the Gwinnett County Police Department Friday said Anthony Lovett, age 20 of Lithonia, is facing three counts of aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Lovett has not been arrested and his location is unknown at this time, according to police.

Lovett is the second person to be charged in the August 5 incident, in which detectives said an argument between two men and a mall employee turned into a physical confrontation, leading to one of the two suspects firing a gun at the employee. No one was struck by the gunfire and no injuries were reported.

One of the two suspects, Ethan Dumas, age 20 of Decatur, turned himself in to the Gwinnett County Jail on September 11 on charges including aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.
