The Hall County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate a pair of drive-by shootings that left on  Gainesville over the weekend.

Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman B.J. Williams said Monday afternoon that investigators have not identified a suspected shooter, but she said they do believe that the two shootings were related.

"Investigators say the shootings were targeted, not random," Williams said. "There's no indication that anyone in the public at large is in any kind of danger."

Three people were detained by authorities and questioned over the weekend, but Williams said all three were released and were not charged in the incidents. She said more suspects may be questioned moving forward.

The first shooting reportedly happened at a home on Shallowford Road. Authorities were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. Saturday and found a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Investigators say several other people were inside that home, but no one else was injured.

The second shooting was reported just after 3:00 a.m. less than a half of a mile away at a home on Crow Drive off of Skelton Road. No one was injured in that shooting, but Williams said a vehicle was damaged by gunfire.

"The three people who were detained for questioning on Saturday were inside the residence on Shallowford Road," Williams said. "Right now, our investigators are talking to additional witnesses...Also, electronic devices found at the scene are being processed for possible evidence."
