SMYRNA, Ga. – The rushing game was on full display for Rabun County as they trounced Whitefield Academy Friday night in the Class A Division I playoffs, 42-14.
The Wildcats ran for 218 yards and four touchdowns. Reid Giles had a pair of rushing scores, while Ty Truelove and Noah English each accounted for one.
Rabun also threw for 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Cooper Welch and Willie Goodwyn. Goodwyn, Clayton Blalock and Jarrett Giles all had an interception in the game as well.
Rabun County will head down to Brooks County next week for the quarterfinal round.
