BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. — Union County had a balanced attack offensively Friday night as they defeated West Hall, 48-7.
The Panthers had 284 yards rushing and 201 yards through the air. Braylon Rader led the way with 130 yards on 19 touches, two of which found the endzone. Conner Schutneck and Jensen Goble each also had rushing touchdowns for Union County.
Through the air, Cayden Tanner was 12-for-17 with a pair of touchdowns, one to Goble and one to tight end Tyler Gratsy. Goble had 100 yards receiving in the game.
Gage Barnes led the Panther defense with 12 tackles.
The Spartans' Brett Sturm was 8-for-15 for 141 yards and a touchdown pass.
Union County will be off next week, while West Hall opens Region 7-AAA play at Dawson County.
