RABBITTOWN, Ga. — North Hall's spread offense put up 470 yards Friday night as they took down East Hall, 69-0.
The Trojans wasted no time getting on the scoreboard as Tate Ruth punched in a 5-yard run to give North Hall the early 7-0 lead just three minutes into the contest. The second quarter is where the offense came alive, scoring four touchdowns in the period with quarterback Tanner Marsh accounting for all four. He ran the first two in before throwing a pair to end the half.
The Trojans kept their foot on the gas, scoring three times in the third and twice in the fourth to pick up their first win of the Sean Pender era.
Marsh was 10-for-15 through the air for 192 yards and a trio of touchdowns while accounting for a pair of rushing touchdowns on 68 yards running. Ajay Jones was the leading receiver for North Hall, tallying 117 yards on just four catches with a pair of touchdowns.
North Hall will play host to Cherokee Bluff next week, while East Hall travels to Cedar Shoals.
