Authorities arrested an Auburn man on Tuesday for the alleged molestation of an underage girl.
Hall County Sheriff's Office public information officer B.J. Williams said Eleazar Antonio Hernandez-Mendez, 25, is accused of committing the crimes in February against a pre-teen girl. The incident reportedly happened at a home in Gainesville.
Hernandez-Mendez was charged with child molestation and sexual battery against a child under the age of 16. Hall County Sheriff's Office investigators learned about the incident about a week after it occurred.
