McGuire named new LLA Executive Director

The Lake Lanier Association has selected Amy McGuire as the organization's new Executive Director.

"For over 25 years, she has worked and supported official interests on the lake, as well as enjoyed Lake Lanier recreationally," the association said in a press release. "She comes to the Lake Lanier Association with experience working for Aqualand and Hideaway Bay Marina in Member Services and Sales."

In her new role, McGuire will work alongside LLA President Todd Baxter, Communications and Membership Coordinator Victoria Clevenger and the Board of Directors to advance the organization's "Clean Full and Safe Lake" initiatives.

"The Lake Lanier Association is confident Amy will be a valuable asset to the association," the press release stated. "We look forward to having her on our team."

McGuire took the job following the resignation of Executive Director Jennifer Flowers back in March. Flowers took a job with the Georgia Association of Water Professionals.
