LISTEN: A sign on Lake Lanier that can save your life
Jeff and Jess Williams stopped by Maine Street to talk about signs that are being placed at Riverforks Park in Hall County that will provide information on water quality of Lake Lanier. The signs will be unveiled Wednesday April 20th at noon. The Williams son, Justus Teal Williams, died from E.coli poisoning after visiting Lake Lanier in 2019 at the age of 2. A project of the South Hall Rotary Club, the signs are in hopes that others won't suffer a similar loss.

In 2020, Pastor Aleks, who is from Ukraine, signed up to be a chaplain with FCSO. He is the pastor of a Russian Ukrainian church in Cumming. That’s when he and Pastor Ron connected. Ron is certified to teach and train chaplains through an international organization. Through Ron’s training expertise and Aleks’ connections, both men had the opportunity to go to Ukraine and train 57 chaplains in the ministry.
