Gainesville PD releases sketch of unidentified armed robbery suspect

The Gainesville Police Department has released a sketch of an armed robbery suspect accused of holding a Kelly Kaper's employee at gunpoint and stealing cash.

The suspect is described as a light skin male standing between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall with a thin build. According to a press release, he was wearing sunglasses, a light pink hoodie and black pants at the time of the robbery. The hoodie also had a colored emblem on the front left chest and a design down the center of the back.

The suspect is accused of entering the package store at 317 Broad Street around 11:30 p.m. on February 28 and holding the employee at gunpoint. The suspect demanded cash and got away with an undisclosed amount.
