The Lakeview Academy girls stormed past Pinecrest Academy, 53-22, at home Monday night.
Joelle Snyder scored 18 points and pulled eight rebounds to lead the Lady Lions (10-11, 4-3 Region 6A Private). Ashlyn Henderson turned in a double-double performance, with 10 points and 10 bards, while Dynesty Putnam chipped in 11 points and swiped four steals.
Sara Nivens was tough on the board with eight rebounds for the Lions.
Lakeview opened on a 16-5 run and led 32-6 at the half.

The Lakeview boys (9-15, 6-9 Region 6A Private) rally came up short against Pinecrest on Monday at home in the loss.
After a back and forth first half, Pinecrest outpaced the Lions, 42-36, in the third quarter and led by as many as 14 points in the second half before the Lions cut it to three points late.
Harrison Cooper led the Lions with 21 points, and Isaiah Rico scored 15 points. Ryan Black added 8.
