FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — No. 2 North Oconee reeled off 42 unanswered points to win, 42-7, over Cherokee Bluff Friday night at Yonah Field.
The Bears (3-7, 3-5 Region 8-4A) kept it close in the first half, going down 21-8 with 18 seconds left in the first half.
Bluff's only score came on a 5-yard pass from Asher Wilson to Richardson with 2:19 left in the first quarter.
North Oconee (10-0, 8-0 Region 8-4A) held the Bears to 131 total yards of offense while racking up 332 total yards, 202 on the ground.
