LOGANVILLE, Ga. — Lakeview trailed at halftime but stormed back to take down Loganville Christian Friday night, 52-34.
Landon Hanes got it started with a 27-yard run just seconds into the game to take a 7-0 lead before Loganville Christian tied it on a 40-yard passing touchdown. Hanes scored again at the end of the first quarter to take a 14-7 lead on a 25-yard sprint.
Loganville Christian dominated the second quarter, scoring back-to-back touchdowns to jump into the lead before Bryan Ramsey kicked a 25-yard field goal to send the game to halftime at a 21-17 score.
After Loganville Christian scored on the opening drive of the second half to go up 28-17, the Lions got scores from Armand Long and Clay Smith to wrap up the third quarter and retake the lead at 31-28. Long scored again to start the fourth quarter before Hanes found paydirt twice more to get to the final score.
Hanes finished with four touchdowns on 200 yards rushing. Long scored the two touchdowns on 39 yards rushing.
Lakeview will now await the playoff seedings to see if they are in the postseason.
